Homes in the hills, L.A.

One of my favorite things about road-tripping is observing the changes (and similarities) in residential architecture across the U.S.  California has a plethora of unique vintage homes built as early as the 1910s. Their colors are as vibrant as the blooms in the gardens.  On this early afternoon, I parked up in the hills of the Silver Lake neighborhood and strolled around in the sun to snap a few of my favorites.

  1. Oh wow, if you plan it just right you will be there during NIOSA! Make sure to go to the “King Williams” area, you’ll be shocked by its transformation, restaurants and hip bars!
