This summer I did a blog post on one of my road trip destinations, Marfa, Texas. While in town, I was fortunate enough to happen upon a Playboy installation that was battling threats of being torn down due to acts of illegal advertising for Playboy but, the argument is, “Hey, it’s art!” I was lucky enough to have gotten photographs of it in solitude, minus some cows.
Now, the beloved and infamous Prada Shop art installation faces the same fate. People are rallying against the Texas State Department of Transportation to save the beloved sculpture. Most people recognized it from this picture Beyonce took in front of it years ago and posted on her website.
